Program

The Family Living Program is a home-based program.

Providing 24/7 support to enable adult individuals diagnosed with a developmental delay or disability to remain living in their own home, their family home, or a surrogate home to promote independence, community inclusion, and an enhanced quality of life.

Offered to individuals who receive funding from the Developmental Disabilities Waiver.

Family Living is also known as Home Based Services and is a residential service where caregivers, who are typically family members, support the needs of individuals with disabilities in their home to enhance the quality of living and have more meaningful relationships. This service is not limited to only family members, but can include surrogate families as well.

You are eligible for the Family Living Program if you are:

  • An adult over the age of 18 years old and receiving Developmental Disabilities Waiver funding
  • Have a delay in development or developmental disability
  • Living in Bernalillo County or Sandoval County
