On Tuesday, November 27th Abrazos will partner with Cocina Azul Cantina on Holly Ave. for our first #GivingTuesdayNM fundraiser. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and in conjunction with the widely recognized shopping days, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesdayNM is part of the global day of giving known as #GivingTuesday.
Frank and Evelyn Barela, owners of Cocina Azul, have generously offered to host this fundraising event, saying “We raised our children in New Mexico and now our children are raising their families here. We feel it is important to contribute to our community and to the health and welfare of the children of New Mexico. Abrazos is a great organization that truly puts New Mexico Children first. We are excited to be participating in Giving Tuesday.”
We invite you to join us on November 27th anytime between 11:00 am and 9:00 pm. Twenty percent (20%) of all proceeds that day will be donated to Abrazos Family Support Services. Additionally, all funds will be eligible for the $10,000 matching grant from the Anderson Charitable Foundation.
